Act 34 (PA Criminal)
Act 126 (Mandated Reporter Training)
Mandated and Permissive Reporting in Pennsylvania Online Training (Act 126-Mandated Reporter Training) This training will be assigned by the district office once approved by the board.
NFHS trainings must be completed on or after July 1st each year.
PA Department of Education Required Coaching Education
The PIAA requires all coaches to complete two courses, Principles of Coaching and First Aid, prior to the start of your third year of coaching.
Once completed, you must upload your certificates to the PIAA website.
How to Register as a Coach on the PIAA Website

Go to the PIAA website and click “Login” in the upper right corner.

You will see a login screen, click the dropdown menu and select “Coaches.”

Then click “Register to be a Coach.”

Complete all required information.

Be sure to add Oil City High School when prompted.

Volunteer Coaching Clearances
Required Clearances for Board Approved Volunteer Coaches
- Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) – There is no fee for this clearance for volunteers. (If registering for the first time choose “Create Individual Account”)
Pennsylvania State Police Request for Criminal Records Check (Act 34) – There is no fee for this clearance for volunteers. (Please use New Volunteer Record Check link on their website.)
